The Mount Michel Road will be closed at Mann River for the removal of the old timber bridge and the construction of the replacement concrete bridge. The $1.4M project is funded by the Fixing Country Bridges Program and will be www.gis.new.gov.au Council Council or scan the QR code delivered by Council's Works Department and specialist contractions. The new bridge will be higher, reducing the number of road closures due to flooding and will have wider lanes and re-aligned road approaches to increase user safety The project is expected to take ten months and due to the topographical constraints of the site, a full road closure for the duration of the project is the most appropriate option.
