GLEN INNES SEVERN COUNCIL gisc.nsw.gov.au OUR COUNCIL NEWS, NOTICES & EVENTS AROUND THE REGION COUNCIL 150 Years of Print: Thank You Glen Innes Examiner As the Glen Innes Examiner wraps up its final print edition, Glen Innes Severn Council would like to express sincere thanks for 150 years of delivering local news to the community Established long before the days of television, radio and digital media, the Examiner newspaper has been the trusted source of news in Glen Innes Severn that has shaped our region. For generations, the Examiner newspaper has been a reliable fixture in households, recording the growth of our area, its milestones and its challenges. It has also served as a key platform for Council to communicate its decisions, projects, services and events directly to the community. The Our Council section, a full-page contribution from Glen Innes Severn Council has been a vital part of this communication, ensuring residents stayed up-to-date with important Council matters and initiatives. Beyond keeping the community informed the print version of the Examiner has preserved local history capturing the essence of Glen Innes Severn and serving as an important vehicle for sharing local news As we look to the future. Council will be reviewing its communication channels to ensure we continue to keep our residents informed and engaged in the most effective ways. Though the print edition is ending, our commitment to clear and open communication with the community remains strong. Public Notice: Updated Quarry Operating Hours Effective Monday, 30 September 2024, Glen Innes Aggregates will be closed for a lunch break from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Council appreciates your understanding and cooperation with these updated operating hours.
