It is planned that the traffic Island in Grey Street will be moved back to create a crossing and the old path near Igation Warehouse will be replaced with the new, wider pathway that will link into the newly completed pathway at the sate park swiming pool and sports stadiun CENTENNIAL PARKLANDS PROJECT This week Count has seen the commencement of the construction phase of the Central Parklands Project with the best removal taking place on Monday, 12 February 2024 and demolition of the existing amenities block on Tuesday, 13 February 2004 The construction phase is anticipated to take approximately 11 weeks (subject to weather events) with the project completion being just days before the 2024 Australa Celtic Festiva Shay Brennan Constructions is very keen to progress this project and is committed to achieving the project deadline Part of the Black Summer Bush Fire Recovery Program, this project received grant funding from the Australian Government and is supported by Glen Innes Seve Coun COUNCIL WORKS PROGRAM The following works are scheduled in the period ending Friday, March 202 subject to weather conditions and unforeseen delays Jetpaching in Gien innes Township and assisting with the heavy patching program General Street Sweeping, PoPaching Street Sweeping and Roadside Sashing around the Glen innes Township Maintenance grading is scheduled for Costelos Road Mt Slow Road.
