The contract took effect on 1 September 2024, with the pool season scheduled to begin at the end of September Council wishes to advise that season passes and other entry passes for both facilities are now only available for purchase at the Glen Innes Aquatic Centre and will no longer be sold at Council's administration office. For any queries, including information on opening dates and times, casual pool attendant positions, swim programs, entry prices, and season passes, please contact Lifeguarding Services Australia via email at gleninnesaquatic@savenues.com.au. Vote Here Funding Available for Heritage Properties: Apply Now Owners of heritage properties are invited to apply for financial support under the Heritage Assistance Fund. This funding is available to help with repairs, maintenance, and the reinstatement of missing elements on historic buildings. AT WORK! Mann River Bridge Update Council recently completed the deck pour on the Mann River bridge on Mt Mitchell Road, successfully placing and finishing 60 cubic metres of concrete. This marks the final stage of the bridge structure works. The project will now move to the road approaches, which involves placing 4,000 tonnes of imported material to raise the old road level by two metres, aligning it with the new flood-proof bridge. This project funded by the NSW Government's Fixing Country Bridges program, and is being delivered by Council's Works Department and specialist contractors.
